MGL Group’s Name in Every Classroom.
Every resource on this page carries MGL Group branding. From a bleed kit on the wall of a secondary school to a storybook read to a class of seven-year-olds, MGL Group is present in schools where it matters.
Primary to Secondary. KS1 Through to KS4.
This sponsorship covers the full school journey, reaching young people at every age where knife crime education makes a difference, with resources built specifically for each stage.
Nothing. Not a Single Penny.
Every resource is delivered to schools completely free of charge. MGL Group’s sponsorship covers everything. The school receives, delivers and benefits. The cost sits entirely with the sponsor.
Secondary School Education
The Education Series.
A five-part resource series, designed specifically for secondary school settings, with MGL Group branding featured throughout. Each episode tackles a different dimension of knife crime — giving teachers a structured, session-ready programme they can deliver with confidence:
- Series 1 Understanding Knife Crime — what it is, the facts, the law and making safe choices.
- Series 2 Social Media, Influence and Knife Crime — How social media and online life shapes real life choices.
- Series 3 Peer pressure and Explotation — navigating influence and making independent decisions.
- Series 4 Consequences, Communities and Victims — the real and lasting effects on victims, families and communities.
- Series 5 Positive Choices — routes away from risk and how to access support.
Series 1 is available to view below. The complete five-part series is available on request.

Branded Bleed Control Kit.
An MGL Group-branded bleed control kit placed in secondary schools, giving staff and young people access to potentially life-saving equipment while putting MGL Group’s name at the heart of community safety.
Each kit is supplied with clear instructions and complements the education series, bridging the gap between awareness and immediate action. A visible, practical commitment that every school will notice.
Knife Detection Wand.
A hand-held knife detection wand, supplied to secondary schools as part of the MGL Group sponsorship package. Giving schools a practical, immediate tool to help keep pupils safe, without the cost and complexity of fixed gate systems.
MGL Group-branded and supplied directly to partner schools, the wand reinforces the message that safety is a shared responsibility between business, schools and community.
High Impact Awareness Video.
A powerful, professionally produced awareness video designed to cut through, not lecture. Built for secondary school assemblies and PSHE sessions, it confronts the reality of knife crime in a way that young people respond to: honest, direct and impossible to ignore.
The video sits at the centre of the education series and is one of KCM’s most requested resources.
Watch the Video →Reaching Young People at the Critical Age.
The secondary school years are when risk escalates. Peer influence intensifies, social media amplifies and the consequences of a single bad decision can be permanent. This is where targeted, honest education can change the outcome, and where MGL Group’s investment makes a direct and visible difference.
Structured Programme
Five episodes, each self-contained but designed to build. Teachers get everything they need, session plans, discussion prompts and background context.
Life-Saving Equipment
Bleed control kits and detection wands go beyond education, giving schools the tools to act in the moments that matter most.
MGL Group Branded
Every resource carries MGL Group’s name, a visible, lasting demonstration of corporate responsibility in the communities where MGL Group operates.
Proven Approach
KCM’s methods are grounded in lived experience and practitioner knowledge, not theory. The secondary programme reflects what actually works with real young people.
Primary School Education
Colouring Competition.
A printable colouring activity that introduces safety awareness in a calm, creative context. Designed to spark conversation between pupils and teachers about safe choices, without alarming younger children.
Suitable for KS1 and KS2. Print and hand out in class, use as a form-time activity or run as a whole-school competition.

Safe Choices Trail.
A printable board game that guides pupils through a series of real-life scenarios, making choices at each step and seeing where those choices lead. Every square prompts discussion, making it as useful for guided PSHE lessons as it is for free play.
Suitable for KS2. Works in small groups or as a whole-class activity with a projected board.

The Mob & the Shiny Thing.
An illustrated flipbook story that explores peer pressure, belonging and the consequences of following the crowd, told in a way that is accessible, engaging and entirely appropriate for younger pupils.
Read it as a class, share it on a whiteboard, or send it home. Suitable for KS1 and KS2.
Click to View →Prevention Starts Before the Risk Does.
By the time knife crime prevention reaches young people at secondary school, some attitudes and habits are already forming. Primary-age education lays the foundations, before peer pressure intensifies and before the street starts to compete with the classroom.
Age-Appropriate
No shock tactics and no alarming imagery. Every resource is designed for younger pupils, introducing big ideas gently and in a language they understand.
Curriculum-Ready
All three resources align with PSHE and support key themes around personal safety, decision-making and community, no specialist training required to deliver them.
Free to Schools
Every resource is provided to schools at no cost. Sponsorship from businesses like MGL Group is what makes that possible and keeps these materials available.
Builds the Foundation
These resources sit alongside KCM’s secondary programme, creating a coherent journey from KS1 right through to KS4.
Help Us Reach Every School.
MGL Group’s sponsorship puts these resources into primary and secondary schools across the UK, free of charge. A simple, direct and visible investment in the communities you serve.
