This Is NotA Charity Ask.

KCM is not asking your organisation to make a vague donation. It is offering a structured partnership product that funds free school resources and gives your business documented, evidenced, procurement-ready social value. Here is the difference.

What a Donation Looks Like
Money leaves your business.
You receive a thank-you letter.
Nobody knows you did it.
You cannot use it in a tender.
Your finance director asks what you got for it.
Answer: Nothing documentable.
What a KCM Partnership Looks Like
Money leaves your business.
You receive a formal evidence letter from a registered CIC.
Your name is in local schools and on KCM channels.
You have named social value evidence for your next tender.
After Corporation Tax relief it costs significantly less than listed.
Answer: Documented community investment.
For Construction and Public Sector Suppliers

Social Value IsNow the Law.

If your business bids for public sector contracts, social value is no longer optional. Under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 and the strengthened Procurement Policy Note 06/20, contracting authorities must consider social value in all major procurement decisions. KCM partnership gives you exactly what you need.

The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 requires all public bodies to consider how services and contracts can improve economic, social and environmental wellbeing in their area. From 2021, central government contracts must explicitly evaluate social value, typically weighted at 10 to 30% of the total score.

What the Law Requires

Public bodies must consider social value at the procurement stage, not as an afterthought. Businesses bidding for contracts worth over £10,000 with central government, and many local authority contracts, are now scored on their demonstrable community contribution. Vague CSR statements are no longer enough.

What KCM Gives You

A KCM partnership delivers specific, place-based, evidenced social value. A formal letter from a registered CIC. Named schools in named locations. Documented outcomes. Real resources in real classrooms. This is exactly the kind of evidence procurement teams are looking for – and cannot ignore.

Why Knife Crime Specifically

Community safety is a priority social value theme across local and central government. Knife crime is a national priority. Sponsoring KCM directly addresses a documented public need, connects your business to a measurable outcome, and demonstrates genuine community investment rather than box-ticking.
