The farm is set within 500 acres amongst the rolling south Wrexham countryside. During the mid-summer months it holds a regular car boot sale and is renowned as the home of North Wales’s largest Fireworks display held every November. This new caravan site has hard standings with electrical hook ups and its own access drive. It is set overlooking the three ponds and is within its owned fenced area. The farm has a small shop that sells local produce including farm fresh eggs, vegetables and jams.
The farm is situated less than 2 miles to the south of Wrexham in the village of Marchwiel. Wrexham is North Wales’s principal town which has the world famous St Giles Church and the tomb of Elihu Yale, the founder of Yale University. The town offers an array of national chain and local shops, local market, a University and a good selection of pubs, cafe bars, cafes and restaurants. Erddig Hall and its beautiful gardens which is one of the National Trusts jewels in the crown is within a pleasant 15 minute walk.
Within a 5 minute drive is the famous Bangor on Dee National Hunt Racecourse and the beautiful River Dee which is a magnate for game fishing. Within a 5 minute walk of the site is the River Clywedog Industrial Heritage Trail, which follows the river through the times of history. The site is surrounded by wonderful walks on miles of public footpaths.
