Knife Crime Matters is Working With Stoke City Football Club Community Trust To Eradicate Knife Crime

Our mission is to reach every child in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas with our message before it’s too late, and more young lives are lost, or drawn into this deadly cycle of  gang culture, violence and fear.

About Stoke City Football Club Community Trust

The Trust is focused on helping develop safer environments that increase engagement and participation, for disadvantaged and targeted communities.

An integral part of what we do at the Trust revolves around inclusivity, mentorship and helping to build strong community ties with a view to encourage young people to avoid the dangers of crime and in particular knife crime.

By partnering with Knife Crime Matters Stoke City FC Community Trust will help…

deliver free educational resources throughout to all 11–18-year-olds, throughout Stoke- on-Trent and surrounding areas.

The Trust engages with people in many varied ways to stimulate an environment in which they can realise their potential and subsequently accomplish more in whatever walk of life they choose for personal and professional development.

Through delivery of the Premier League Kicks programme, we offer the opportunity for young people at risk of knife crime, gang culture and anti-social behaviour, to engage in football sessions and educational workshops.

We have linked up with Knife Crime Matters, using resources designed to increase young people’s knowledge and understanding around the risks and impact of youth violence, knife crime and anti-social behaviour.‘ Callum Feeney Youth Engagement Manager

I wanted to thank you for the Knife Crime booklet and resources. Upon careful evaluation, I find these materials to be of praiseworthy quality and relevance. Moving forward, I intend to incorporate these resources into our curriculum, as they align well with our educational objectives and contribute meaningfully to our efforts in addressing and educating students about the issue of knife crime.

Andy and his team were great in ensuring resources were tailored to the organisation and provided a clear narrative on the progress throughout the production process. I'm sure many other organisations will benefit from the team’s services.”
