Introducing Youth Safety Matters
Youth Safety Matters is a brand new quarterly magazine dedicated to keeping young people safe across North West England.
The official publication of Knife Crime Matters, our mission is to bridge the gap between the various organisations working tirelessly to protect and support young people, by providing them with the resources, insights, and contacts they need to be even more effective in their work.
The digital magazine is distributed free of charge to more than 10,000 named contacts who are directly or indirectly involved in improving outcomes for children and teenagers.
This includes professionals in education, national and local government, the emergency services, the business community and the voluntary sector.
We are able to do this through advertising, so your support is vital to the cause. Please take a look at our media pack if you would like to take advantage of the sponsorship opportunities available.

Why Youth Safety Matters is needed?
While individual organisations produce excellent resources, there was no platform that brings together insights, research, and practical solutions from across all sectors.
Youth Safety Matters fills this gap by:
- Connecting different sectors that often work in isolation
- Sharing best practices across organisations and regions
- Providing evidence-based insights to inform policy and practice
- Celebrating success stories to inspire and motivate
- Offering practical resources that can be implemented immediately
Our partnership with Knife Crime Matters
Youth Safety Matters benefits from the established reputation and extensive network of Knife Crime Matters, which already works in partnership with a variety of organisations across North West England.
This includes distributing educational resources to schools and youth organisations, working with the police to support crime prevention initiatives and maintaining a comprehensive resource hub.

How To Get Involved
Andy and his team were great in ensuring resources were tailored to the organisation and provided a clear narrative on the progress throughout the production process. I'm sure many other organisations will benefit from the team’s services.”

I wanted to thank you for the Knife Crime booklet and resources. Upon careful evaluation, I find these materials to be of praiseworthy quality and relevance. Moving forward, I intend to incorporate these resources into our curriculum, as they align well with our educational objectives and contribute meaningfully to our efforts in addressing and educating students about the issue of knife crime.
