Knife Crime Matters is dedicated to creating awareness about knife crime, its causes, risks, and consequences. Based in Southport, our organization works tirelessly to educate the community and prevent incidents of knife crime.
Role Description
This is a full-time/part-time on-site or WFH role for a Professional Fundraiser at Knife Crime Matters in Southport. The Professional Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, organizing events, cultivating donor relationships, and meeting fundraising targets to support the organization’s initiatives.
Qualifications
- Fundraising, Donor Relations, and Event Planning skills
- Advertising sponsorship sales experience is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in developing fundraising strategies and meeting targets
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Knowledge of the issues surrounding knife crime is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field
